What People's Say About Place

Great service and lots of local goodies to choose from. I picked up some specialty mushrooms and fresh bread while we were shopping at the grocery store a few doors down. They even sell day-old bread at a decent price, which is a nice bonus. Overall prices do tend to run on the higher side, and parking can be a bit limited. Still, it’s a pleasant spot with plenty of healthy options, whether you shop here or at the grocery section nearby.

Great place for fresh local grab and go meals, coffee & tea, pastries, and good vibes. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Support local!

This is quintessential Ann Arbor. It's a real community institution that also happens to be consistently excellent. I love getting coffee and pastries or a sandwich and a beer here. I've also hosted a private event in the basement and it was a perfect gathering space. The patio is a little loud being on Packard but the indoor space is really cozy. Also, the staff is really nice and service is usually really great! Local local local.

Summertime ice cream is my favorite here! Highly recommend the dairy free ice cream. Argus is always fun for trivia and just to gather or do work. Highly recommend if you’re in aa!

An Ann Arbor favorite! Love the warm and friendly ambiance. And the coffee is fantastic. I had a caramel latte and it was smooth and flavorful and perfectly bold. They also offer a wide variety of pastries, cookies, and snacks. Great place to hang out for a chat with friends or to get some work done.

Came here on a Friday night for a coffee and were so pleased with our experience. Baristas are super chill and got us our coffees in no time. The coffee was well brewed from perfectly roasted beans. There is TONS of seating and an area to study (with a huge whiteboard) downstairs. Complete with books, games, and comfortable seating, this is the ideal location for community building and group meetings. The refrigerated stand has a variety of lunch/snacks for anyone to find something for themselves. The atmosphere of the building and the commitment to support local farmers and sustainability is also note worthy. This is going to become go-to cafe for us!!

Stopped in on a week night to see what they had to offer. Was surprised at the amount and variety of potatoes they had, along with a large offering of farm to freezer meals from pork to beef and whole chickens. They also offered a small selection of Michigan sourced small batch pops. The place is bright and well maintained. They also have a decent selection of of coffee and baked goods and an area where you can sit and kids can play

Such a cozy spot- I’ve got nothing but good things to say about Argus. Such a great spot to work, hangout, grab a drink, enjoy the outdoor patio, etc. Their coffee’s just great and their food selection is endless. I’ve been here probably about 10 times now and always manage to find something new to try out. Their baristas are also super friendly and the overall cafe ambiance feels very cozy. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in Ann Arbor!
